Fienza tapware and bathroomware guide: ranges, finishes and what pairs together
Fienza is the brand to look at when you want most of a bathroom from one maker in one finish. Its range runs from tapware and showers to toilet suites, basins, heated towel rails and accessories, and the tapware ranges share finish names so the pieces sit together properly. This guide explains how the Fienza ranges fit together, which finishes repeat across them, and what to check so the in-wall parts, basins and toilets all line up on install day.
How the tapware ranges are organised
Fienza tapware is grouped into named families. Each family has its own handle and spout shape, then repeats that shape across basin mixers, wall sets, shower mixers and bath outlets. The families you will see most often are:
- Kaya: round body, pin lever, curved outlet. See the Kaya Basin Mixer for the basin version.
- Tono: soft square outlet. Fienza lists the Tono Basin Mixer in lead-free brass with a 25mm European cartridge, a swivel aerator and a 6-star WELS label at 4.5 L/min.
- Empire Slim: slim, rounded outlet, carried through to towel rails and heated rails.
- Sansa: soft rectangular handle and outlet.
- Axle: an industrial cross-hatched handle and spout, solid brass.
Choose a family by the shape you like, then stay inside it for every visible piece in the room. That is the simplest way to get a calm, matched look.
Finishes that carry across the range
The core Fienza finish names are Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, Urban Brass and Gun Metal. Some families add Brushed Copper, and Kaya and Empire Slim pieces also come in Matte White. Not every finish is made in every family, so check the colour list on each product page before you settle on a combination.
Urban Brass is Fienza's own finish name, so compare it in person against any other brass or gold finish in your plan rather than assuming they match.
Wall mixers: one body, several looks
Fienza's wall and shower mixers use the Quik-Switch system. A universal body goes in the wall first, and the visible dress kit goes on after tiling. Fienza lists the Quik-Switch bodies as compatible with dress kits from Kaya, Tono, Sansa, Empire Slim and Axle.
There are two different bodies, so match them carefully:
- the Quik-Switch Universal Wall Mixer Body, for shower and wall mixer dress kits
- the Quik-Switch Universal Wall Basin/Bath Mixer Body, for basin and bath wall sets with an outlet
Each dress kit listing names the body it needs. Order both together so your plumber has the right part at rough-in.
Toilets: more choice than most people expect
Fienza covers back to wall, wall faced, close coupled, skew pan and wall hung suites, plus the RAK range it carries. The Koko Tornado Flush Back-to-Wall Toilet Suite is a good example of how the listings work: a rimless flush, a soft-close quick-release seat, an R&T or Geberit cistern where configured, and a choice of P-trap, S-trap 90 to 160 or S-trap 160 to 230. Wall hung and wall faced suites list the in-wall cistern options and note that the flush plate is sold separately.
Browse every style in the toilets collection, and have your plumber confirm the trap and set-out before you choose.
Basins: concrete, solid surface and vitreous china
Fienza basins cover three quite different materials.
- Concrete. The Blanca Concrete Wall Basin pairs a right-hand bowl with a built-in shelf. It is a heavy piece, so Fienza supplies extra heavy duty wall brackets, and each concrete basin varies slightly in colour and fleck by design.
- Solid surface. The Nero above counter basin is cast stone solid surface in Matte White, with no tap hole and a matching pop-up waste sold separately.
- Vitreous china. The RAK Feeling Round above counter basin has a 5mm slim edge and is 420 x 420 x 130mm.
Check the waste note on every Fienza basin listing. Several have no overflow, and the waste they need is sold separately, so add it to the same order in your tapware finish.
Towel rails and heated rails
Empire Slim carries through to towel rails, including the stainless steel Empire Slim Double Towel Rail in 600mm and 800mm. For warmth, the Empire Slim Vertical Heated Towel Rail is 60 x 900mm, 304 stainless steel, concealed hard-wired, with a 12V transformer included. Heated rails are installed by a licensed electrician in line with the manufacturer's installation instructions.
A simple order of decisions
- Pick the tapware family and finish.
- Confirm the Quik-Switch bodies for every wall mixer.
- Choose the toilet style to suit your trap.
- Choose basins and add the right waste.
- Finish with towel rails and accessories from the same family.
You will find every item in our Fienza collection, and the wider tapware range if you want to compare.
