Choosing a bathroom showroom in Brisbane and Logan
Search for a bathroom showroom in Brisbane and the map fills with pins. Some are tile shops with a few taps on a board, some are trade counters, and some have whole bathrooms on display. The quickest way to choose is to decide what you need to see in person, then pick the showroom that lets you see it.
Here is the practical filter we use with customers who come to us from Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast. It is not a ranking, just what tends to matter on a real renovation.
1. Can you see finishes under real light?
Phone screens flatten gunmetal into black and turn warm gold yellow. A useful showroom lets you stand matte black next to brushed nickel next to your own tile sample, under ordinary light. If the finishes are only in a catalogue, you are still guessing.
Bring a palm-sized tile offcut and, if you have one, a benchtop chip. Our tapware finishes guide explains what to compare before you go.
2. Is the range deep enough for a whole bathroom?
One nice mixer is not a bathroom. You need a shower, wastes, accessories and usually a vanity and basin that work together. Check that the showroom carries matching families, so the basin mixer, shower, bath spout and towel rail can all come in the same finish.
Browse tapware, vanities, showers, baths and toilets to see how our range fits together.
3. Can you check sizes against your plan?
Most renovation regrets are about size, not style: a vanity that crowds the door, a bath that is 100mm too long for the alcove, or a toilet that does not line up with the existing waste. A showroom earns its keep when you can stand in front of a 900mm and a 1200mm vanity and see the difference.
Before you visit, measure the wall widths, ceiling height, door swing and the position of the toilet waste, and take photos with a tape measure in shot. The vanity sizing guide and bath sizing guide list what to measure.
4. Will they answer WaterMark and WELS from documents?
Tapware, toilets and showers should carry WaterMark certification, and many need a WELS rating. A good retailer quotes the manufacturer data and shows it on the product page rather than guessing. Our WaterMark and WELS buying notes explain what to look for.
5. How do pickup and delivery work?
Vanities and baths are bulky. Ask how the showroom handles stock: can you collect once your order is ready, and what does delivery cost to your suburb? We offer free pickup once your order is marked ready, and Australia-wide delivery with the exact rate shown at checkout. Details are on the delivery and returns page.
